私の名前はジョージです。
イギリスのドーセット州出身です。
日本に住んで11年目になります。
日本に来てからは、大手の英会話スクールで6年、名門インターナショナル保育園で4年勤務し、この度、吹田市山田に英会話スクールをOPENしました！
日本語も話せますので、小さいお子様からお年寄りの方まで、いろんな年齢層の方に英語を教えるスキルがあります！
私は本や漫画を読むことが大好きで、アウトドアも好きです！
先日、吹田市山田で古くから踊り継がれてきた権六おどり（盆踊り）に伝わる昔話を英訳させていただきました。

スクールの理念
日本における英語学習は文法を重視する傾向にあります。
もちろん文法はとても大事ですが、暗号のように覚えるだけではいけないのです。
言語とはコミュニケーションのツールです。
たとえたくさん間違えたとしても、自分の言いたい事が言え、相手に理解してもらえるのであればそれはコミュニケーションが成立していると言えると思います。
Language teaching in Japan often focuses on grammar. Grammar is certainly very important, but language is not just a code to be cracked. Language is a tool to communicate. If you are able to communicate your ideas, that is a successful use of language even if you made many mistakes. I believe that it is often better to learn grammar later, after you have already begun to communicate, because you can use your experience of communication to support learning the grammar itself. If you have experience using, for example, present perfect tense, it will be easier to acquire the rules. If you try to learn the grammar first, it often does not make much sense, and you will not be able to use it.
I try to provide enjoyable lessons where you can use the language you know, combined with support from me, to achieve some goal beyond just learning a grammar point. I belive that by doing so you will see much faster gains in English proficiency than just by studying and repeating grammar points.
